LA SEMILLA NEGRA DE NB-604 se exparsio a nivel mundial teninedo buen reconocimiento, astimosamente como toda buena banda, tuvierón que separarse , la alineación original .
hoy por hoy existe NB-604 pero no son los que fundarón la banda lastimosamente de las viejas glorias solo quedan los temas grabados como son: Ekhursaggalkurkurra (live), Slayer of Souls, Mother Violence, Atomic War, Perdition NB y One day of Psychopatmetal in the Hell (live).

A BAND THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GAIN THE RESPECT OF THE PEOPLE AND A PLACE IN THE BLACK METAL SITE, WE'LL GIVE A BIT OF HIS STORY AND ONGOING SISTERY TO A NEW DAY.

 As one of the best extreme bands of Ecuador has been devoted to the 'Mutilated Crist'. This was founded in mid-1994, by William, 'Morbo mutilador', leader of the group and guitarist, who explains that they seek to end the 'cancer' of religion, since for more than two thousand years it has imprisoned people in a prison of hypocritical life.
With a slow but firm voice, 'Morbo' maintains that his dark music band mixes the literature of black magic, occultism and satanism, through a fierce and direct rhythm.
"The name of the band is not interpreted as indicated by its translation, but as the end of religion," says Morbo.
Adrián, known as Kingu, is the official voice of the group for more than three years. "I acquired the lyrics of the original line-up and now we are working on the construction of lyrics beyond the pleasurable states manifested by Satanism, seen from the positive side".

Legión is formed in the city of Portoviejo, province of Manabí, with the disintegration and later union of two musical projects called Atrox and Addiction, the same that never managed to consolidate as bands; this is how in October 1995, the survivors of these two musical projects decided to join and form the legion band with the following formation: Fernando Cevallos (ex-Cry and Mortom) on drums, Dover Chinga and Wacho Alarcón on the first and second guitar respectively, Juan Carlos Robles as vocalist and Marcelo Villavicencio on bass.

Also in 1996 the first underground rock concert made in Manabi with the participation of Total Death, Sarcasm, Legion and Vox Pop.

The band continued making sporadic presentations, but since the end of '96 he dedicated himself fully to the realization of the songs themselves, in which they began to work, the musical style was maturing musical and ideologically, gradually defining itself until being pigeonholed inside the black metal.

Before the need to be made known within the Ecuadorian scene, the band decides to record a promotional essay of 4 songs called simply "promo'97", which was distributed in Colombia, Usa, Germany, Spain, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica, among others, and of course throughout Ecuador, receiving excellent comments from the specialized press. Due to the good reviews by the fanzines and the general public, the proposal to record for the Remiso Recs label was received.

saludos hermandad comenzando la semana, espero que su fin de semana haya sido de provecho y metal, este día es traigo información de mi Pais con una banda que se hizo un espacio en la escena del Black metal, ahunque corto fue su tiempo aun sigune tocando y con un buen trabajo en formato casette,llamadp el ocaso de la luz, bueno les dejo con la banda Ecuatoriana Legión.

Legión se forma en la ciudad de Portoviejo, provincia de Manabí, con la desintegración y posterior unión de dos proyectos musicales llamados Atrox y Adicción, los mismos que jamás lograron consolidarse como bandas; es así como en octubre de 1995, los sobrevivientes de estos dos proyectos musicales, deciden unirse y formar la banda legión con la siguiente formación: Fernando Cevallos (ex-Cry y Mortom) en la batería, Dover Chinga y Wacho Alarcón en la primera y segunda guitarra respectivamente, Juan Carlos Robles como vocalista y Marcelo Villavicencio en el bajo.

Después hubieron problemas internos en la banda y Fernando Cevallos se fue, el anterior vocalista toma la batería; y entra Juan Figueroa (ex-vocalista de Sarcasmo, de Manta) a ser el vocalista, luego se retira de la banda por discrepancias ideológicas Wacho Alarcón, quedando el actual line-up de la siguiente forma:

La banda empieza tocando covers de Black, Thrash Y Death Metal como Slayer, Venom, Sodom, Obituary, Asphyx, etc. En octubre de 1996, cuando se realiza la primera presentación de la banda, legión gana el primer lugar en el concurso de rock provincial organizado por la casa de la cultura de Portoviejo, haciéndose acreedor a un premio económico. También en 1996 se realiza el primer concierto de rock subterráneo hecho en Manabí con la participación de Total Death, Sarcasmo, Legión Y Vox Pop.

La banda continuó haciendo esporádicas presentaciones, pero desde finales del 96 se dedicó de lleno a la realización de los temas propios, en los que se empezó a trabajar, el estilo musical fue madurando musical e ideológicamente, definiéndose poco a poco hasta encasillarse dentro del black metal.

Ante la necesidad de hacerse conocer dentro de la escena ecuatoriana, la banda decide grabar un ensayo promocional de 4 temas llamado simplemente "promo'97", que fue distribuido en Colombia, Usa, Alemania, Espana, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Perú, Argentina, México, Costa Rica, entre otros, y por supuesto en todo el Ecuador, recibiendo excelentes comentarios de la prensa especializada. Debido a las buenas críticas por parte de los fanzines y público en general, se recibió la propuesta de grabar para el sello Remiso Recs.

Sarcophagus was formed in 1985 in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.1 Having as influences extreme metal bands like Bathory, Celtic Frost, Slayer, 2 and hardcore punk, 3 the goal of Sarcófago was to create the most aggressive music of the world4 Wagner Lamounier, who had separated with acrimony from Sepultura in March of that same year, 5 was invited to join the band.6 Although he never recorded anything with Sepultura, he wrote the lyrics of the song Antichrist, of the EP Bestial Devastation.7

The debut of Sarcófago was in the split album of Cogumelo Produções, Warfare Noise, originally published in 1986. Sarcófago contributed with three songs, "Recrucify", "The Black Vomit" and "Satanás". Their music and lyrics caused a great impact, something that allowed them to get a considerable amount of attention.8 At that time the band was formed by "Butcher" (guitar), "Antichrist" (Lamounier, voice), "Incubus" (Geraldo Minelli, bass) and "Leprous" (Armando Sampaio, drums) .9
INRI. (1987-1988)

With the new drummer, "DD Crazy" 10 -considered as one of the pioneers of the use of blast beat in this album3 - Sarcophagus published INRI in July 1987.1 The dress of the band on the cover of the album -corpsepaint, jackets of leather and belts of bullets - is considered one of the first visual representations of black metal.11 Music also had a great influence, being considered a milestone in the history of the genre.12 Even though the album had a good host, Lamounier was not satisfied with the final result and complained about the quality of the recording sessions.2

After the publication of I.N.R.I., Sarcófago made a short break. Lamounier moved to Uberlândia to study economics at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), while Butcher and his brother D.D. Crazy left the group.4 The latter would play the drums on Sextrash's debut album, Sexual Carnage (1989) .6

The release of this album also marks the departure of Jose Piloni (drums) from the band. Vulcano released a live recording Live! in 1985 to gain exposure to a greater audience outside of their home city of Santos. The story of REINCARNATION could easily summarize the past, present and future of Metal in Colombia.  la historia de REENCARNACIÓN podría fácilmente resumir el pasado, presente y futuro del Metal en Colombia. Fundada en 1984 en Medellín, en una época en la que el Metal Extremo estaba en su etapa embrionaria, REENCARNACIÓN combinó en su propuesta musical inicial elementos del Punk, el Hardcore y el Metal en una amalgama conocida entonces como “Ultra Metal”, un término nebuloso con el que se denominaba a cualquier banda que tocara más pesado que los suizos HELLHAMMER o los suecos BATHORY, en los días en los que el Metal no sufría de las innecesarias etiquetas e innumerables ramificaciones estilísticas que plagan este género del Rock. Aunque por entonces existían bandas similares (siendo PARABELLUM los indiscutibles pioneros de ese sonido cavernoso y salvaje) la ventaja de REENCARNACIÓN sobre sus congéneres fue que ellos sí grababan lo que hacían. Desde los comienzos de Víctor en una banda llamada PROFECÍA en 1984, transformándose en REENCARNACIÓN en 1986,  la acogida de su primer demo, “Dioses Muertos” de 1987, les impulsó a meterse a un estudio de grabación, con todo lo precario que era en aquellos días grabar rock en Colombia, sin alguien que supiera siquiera cómo hacerlo, con una escasez de técnicas y equipos que, pese a todas las circunstancias, tendría un impacto que ha superado la prueba del tiempo.

¿Qué de todo lo que vivía y se experimentaba en ese tiempo, fue lo que lo impulsó a hacer esos primeros esbozos musicales con REENCARNACIÓN? “Escuchar a PARABELLUM” responde y después de una breve pausa y una risa contenida, voltea la cabeza, me dirige una mirada inquisitiva, agregando socarronamente, “¿Tengo que hablar más?”  Y para contextualizar la respuesta, prosigue: “Me marcó mucho en el sentido del Metal. En esos momentos yo acababa de ingresar a PROFECÍA como vocalista, y lo que compuse como un tema ya terminado, que considero fue mi primer tema, fue ‘Reencarnación de la Luna’. Se grabó ese tema y, en ese momento, dije ‘Esto que estoy haciendo se va a llamar REENCARNACIÓN’. Pero lo que me dio la fuerza de decir ‘Esto es lo que yo quiero hacer’ fue PARABELLUM”.

Porque si hay algo que REENCARNACIÓN llevó más allá, fue esa furia y visceralidad registrada en su primer acetato, y ese “hacerlo con las uñas”, donde podían más las ganas que la técnica
